Accounting Clerk (Previously Junior Accountant)

Purpose:  

This Job Location is in Lebanon working remotely from an office space.

Junior accountant will be mainly responsible for verifying POS Sales, Managing Petty cash, and booking stock purchase entries in the system.

Responsibilities:   

1. Verify all invoices and payment receipt for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies.
   
2. Process/book POS sales, inventory purchase, and payment to suppliers in accounting system. 
   
3. Manage petty cash and credit card purchase. 
   
4. Prepare reconciliations for: Bank, Suppliers (in coordination with Procurement), 
   
5. Verify Pos sales (cash and cards), and ensure deposit in bank.   
   
6. Create new items in the accounting system and pos system. 
   
7. Prepare vat computation for filing.  
   
8. 
   
9. Assist with other admin & accounting work.
   

Requirements

Required Role Competencies:

1. Advanced excel skills 
   
2. Booking Accuracy, and detail oriented in accounting.
   
3. Strong Follow up.
   
4. Good English communication skills.
   
5. Trustworthy.
   

Qualifications:

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
   
2. 1-2 years of accounting or admin experience.
