Deal Desk Operations Specialist/Sr Specialist

Core Mission Statement: Establish scalable CPQ, Account Management, and Cloud Marketplace support to service transactional deal activity and document processes for business continuity.
Summary: Drata is seeking a deal operations specialist to support Drata’s revenue growth and maturing financial processes. The specialist will collaborate closely with essential cross-functional team members to establish processes and enhance our business systems. They will also work closely with the sales field on quoting, solving day to day system issues, and creating and managing AWS and Google Cloud Marketplace offers.

  • Day to Day Responsibilities:
    • Support Quoting Operations in Salesforce CPQ.
      • Create non-standard and/or complex quotes on behalf of the sales field
      • Facilitate quote approval processes
      • Advise the sales field on quoting best practices
      • Be the subject matter expert for quote operations
      • Conduct test cases related to quoting in SFDC sandbox environment
      • Document end to end quoting processes
      • Recommend process and policy enhancements
    • Support order management process, reviewing opportunities for close
      • Ensure orders are correct and bookable
      • Document end to end order management process
      • Ensure revenue metrics are accurate between the quote and opportunity 
  • 3+ years of experience in a deal desk or order management role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Salesforce CPQ, quoting and opportunity creation
  • Working knowledge of SaaS revenue metrics (ARR, ACV, TCV, NRR, etc.)
  • Ability to work 1:1 with account executives on deal desk related requests
  • Demonstrated ability to document complex processes related to quoting, order management, and cloud marketplace deal operations
  • Approachable and helpful at all times, knowing when and how to push back with the sales field
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator 
  • Salesforce reporting and dashboards
