Accounting Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month end close process including maintenance of close calendar and close checklist and assist in implementing and designing close processes

• Assist with establishing and maintaining standardized accounting procedures and processes

• Assist with revenue recognition treatment of customer contracts

• Preparation of JEs and completion and review of GL reconciliations

• Assist with annual independent financial and statutory audits

• Perform balance sheet and income statement analytics and provide fluctuation explanations

• Prepare and analyze various reports related to the internal and external financial statements

• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and state regulations for financial and fiscal reporting

• Support the CFO and work directly with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and consistency About You

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

• 2+ years in public accounting, Big 4 preferred

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP • Demonstrate knowledge and experience with internal controls, processes and SOX

• CPA is desired

• Organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail

• Self-directed and willing to take ownership of responsibilities

• Natural ability and desire to work on a team • Excellent professional communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task based on current demands
