Job description

We are looking for an AVP Finance & Accounts for a Tech MNC to be based out of their Chennai office.

Job Profile:
Oversee the daytoday accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting, ensuring adherence to tax regulations specific to the IT industry.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws that may impact the company’s financial operations.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting standards.
Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with relevant departments.
Monitor budget performance, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Financial Compliance & Risk Assessment
Team leadership & development
SBU Profitability, Financial Reporting and Analysis

Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant
4 to 6 Years of Financial Management experience
Must have worked on SBU Profitability, Financial Reporting & Analysis
Must have prior experience with billing and interacting with US Teams (Billing and AR)
Must be from an IT Software Background
Must have Finance leadership experience.
Data driven individual with excellent communication skills.
Result driven and TAT focused individual.
