Position Available: Property Research & Insights Analyst
Location: Remote; Sri Lanka
Hours: Full-time - 5:30am - 1:30pm, IST Colombo Time

Are you a property specialist with strong communication skills and an eye for spotting market trends in the Australian property landscape?

We’re looking for a Property Research & Insights Analyst to join our growing team and support our in-house experts. This isn’t an entry-level role. We’re after someone who is up to date with the market and confident in managing the end-to-end process of researching and interpreting housing affordability, lending trends, demographic shifts, and macroeconomic indicators with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Property Research & Insights Analyst, you will be the dedicated resource for researching property markets, economic trends, and investment opportunities. You will have a strong focus on producing insights for marketing campaigns, client education, and lead generation.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of finance and marketing, ensuring that content and campaigns are always backed by solid data and analysis.

Your main responsibilities

Property Market Research – Use platforms like HTAG, CoreLogic, and Stash to identify trends, hotspots, and insights.
Economic & Banking Data – Track and interpret housing affordability, lending trends, demographic shifts, and macroeconomic indicators.
Marketing Insights – Translate research findings into engaging outputs for blogs, reports, social media, and client guides.
Data Scraping & Automation – Collect and maintain datasets to streamline reporting and track changes over time.
Cross-Team Collaboration – Work with finance to ensure accuracy and with marketing to align insights with campaigns.
Reporting – Produce clear, professional research briefs and visual summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

What your profile will look like:

Must Have- 3–5 years’ experience in economics, banking, investments, or financial analysis.
Must Have- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver outputs with minimal supervision.
Must Have- Strong analytical background with proven research experience.
Must Be- Familiar with property analytics platforms (HTAG, CoreLogic, Stash, or similar).
Must Have- Excellent written communication skills, particularly in presenting complex data in a clear and engaging way.
Must Have- Strong technical skills in Excel/Google Sheets (bonus: Power BI or similar).
Preferred- Experience working with Australian property or financial data.
Preferred-Prior exposure to property investment principles.
Preferred- Experience producing research tailored for marketing or client-facing content.
