Job description

  • Execution of Marine Coating Testing Activities - Ensure proper installation, inspection, and removal of paint panels under real marine exposure.

  •  

  • Quality Assurance & Reporting Maintain accurate inspection documentation and report results according to company standards.

  •  

  • Platform Maintenance & Safety Management Oversee routine upkeep and ensure operational safety of the RAFT Marine platform.

  •  

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Coordinate with colleagues, R&D scientists, and other internal functions to support research objectives.

  •  

  • Compliance with HSE and Operational Standards - Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and 6S protocols.

What are we looking for?  

  • Technical diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification in a scientific, engineering, or maintenance-related discipline.

  • Hands-on experience (or strong interest) in marine environments, offshore operations, or technical maintenance.

  • Familiarity with physical inspection tasks and outdoor fieldwork.

General behavioural competencies most relevant for the job

  • Strong attention to detail for accurate testing, sample handling, and documentation.

  • Knowledge of HSE standards and safety-conscious work practices.

  • Ability to work in variable weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Computer literacy: spreadsheets, digital record-keeping, and basic reporting tools.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross-cultural collaboration.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
