Job description

Job Description:

Are you a data professional with an obsession for clean and usable information for your business stakeholders? This is the role for you! In this position, you’ll play a key role in improving and maintaining enterprise data quality using tools like Informatica Data Quality. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across our systems. Working closely with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, you'll identify data issues, implement data quality rules and controls, and continuously enhance data quality processes.

*This is a hybrid office position and requires regular attendance at either our Dallas, TX or in Minnetonka, MN location. Remote candidates will not be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in research and fact-finding to develop or modify a database, data reporting tools for data analytics or other data development projects.

  • Assist in preparing specifications.

  • Assist in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining assigned area of specialization.

  • Perform basic analysis, reporting, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

  • Other duties as assigned or required.

  • Monitor and assess data quality through audits, validation techniques, and reconciliation processes

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies and issues

  • Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports

  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards and reports that support key business decision making

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data quality rules and standards

  • Establish root cause analysis for recurring data issues and recommend preventative solutions

  • Support data governance initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices

  • Document procedures and ensure compliance with data regulations and company policies

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience working in Informatica Data Quality or a similar software

  • Mid-level position for individuals with the aptitude, educational background, or related work experience to begin a career as a data quality analyst professional

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in a data quality, data analysis, or data governance role.

  • Informatica or Snowflake Data Quality application experience is strongly preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data profiling tools

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

Educational Requirements:

Recent graduate of a related degree or certification program; or a demonstrable skill, aptitude or ability; or some prior, related work experience resulting in the ability to fulfill the entry-level responsibilities of the position.

Communication and Interpersonal skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Consistent attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour Company events.

  • Ability to accept supervision.

  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person.

  • Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.

  • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.

Position's Pay Range:

$75,000 to $95,000 annually.
