Role Summary

The Planning Analyst is responsible for managing supply chain’s internal production material funding that is critical in improving overall schedule predictability and ultimately customer fulfillment. Role will drive accuracy across the MRP system with a focus on order planning factor data integrity and help drive education across data stewards role.  Candidate will rely on a strong foundation of SAP functionality across different modules to align system planning parameters, driving schedule alignment with financial, factory, program operations, and engineering stakeholders. The analyst will utilize system tools (Kinaxis, BW, SharePoint, Tableau, etc.) to drive data integrity improvements and streamline processes where needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) manufacturing environment with the ability to provide creative and systemic solutions
  • Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment
  • Analyze supply and demand to improve schedule executability
  • Utilize advanced Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. – Kinaxis RapidResponse)
  • Run simulations to assess planning factor updates and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Drive MRP data integrity through periodic planning factor reviews with business partners to ensure materials are set up correctly according to site needs.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Planning
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Knowledge and understanding of multiple SAP modules and how it relates to supply & demand profiles.
  • Fundamental Kinaxis Skills with the ability to navigate and utilize multiple complex workbooks.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Knowledge of SharePoint, PowerAutomate, and PowerApps on the O365 Platform
  • Strong experience with MS Excel (complex formulas, data models, macros) and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding and the ability to extract data from multiple sources (SAP Tables, Kinaixs, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and being able to summarize for leadership, programs or business groups.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
