Job Description Summary
The Associate IT Director Business Partner will report to the TGS Senior Director, Product Services and work with the Quality function as well as individual business units and other global functions to match business strategy and needs with TGS technical solutions.

This individual will serve as a primary point to deliver a technology roadmap aligned with advancing the global Quality agenda collaborating with internal and external experts to ensure that the business is proactively provided with strategic thought leadership and bring the appropriate quality domain knowledge, process expertise and workplace solutions together.

Position Overview

The Associate IT Director Business Partner will serve as the critical link between the Quality function and IT, reporting to the TGS Senior Director of Product Services. This role will align business strategy with technical solutions, deliver technology roadmaps, and provide strategic thought leadership to advance the global Quality agenda through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Global Quality organization to shape key strategies using market-leading process, data, and technology solutions

  • Serve as the primary advocate for IT within the business and for the business within IT

  • Provide digital thought leadership by leveraging AI, Analytics, and Automation technologies to optimize Quality operations

  • Find opportunities to leverage technology and process redesign that drive revenue growth, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and enhanced compliance

  • Develop purposeful investment roadmaps with technology enablement to achieve value-driven outcomes

  • Lead in a matrix environment, managing a catalog of "Technology Products" across all quality organizations

  • Collaborate with other IT Business Partners to ensure integrated, non-siloed solutions aligned with BD's enterprise roadmaps

  • Oversee program/project execution including solution delivery, stakeholder management, communication, change management, and value realization

  • Drive global adoption of platforms supporting key Quality process areas such as Complaint Management, Field Action, Document Management, and Regulated applications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 8+ years of experience with deep understanding of the Quality function and complementary technology experience

  • Experience delivering technology solutions in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical regulated environment

  • Solid knowledge of relevant Quality/Regulatory standards (cGxP, CFR Part 11, etc.)

  • Proficiency in system development life cycle documentation and testing protocols

  • Strong program and project management skills

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in Quality management solutions such as Trackwise, SAP, Siemens, and LIMS

  • Experience working in a Quality "Product Model" structure

  • Demonstrated ability to define technology vision and roadmaps for Quality platforms

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management

  • Proven ability to implement and drive global adoption of integrated Quality solutions

  • Strategic thought leadership in technology innovation for Quality functions

Salary Range Information

$157,700.00 - $260,400.00 USD Annual
