Job description

About Bryant Park Consulting:

Bryant Park Consulting is a leading Oracle | NetSuite consulting firm dedicated to helping businesses achieve their goals through successful ERP implementations and optimizations. We are a team of experienced consultants passionate about delivering exceptional client service and driving digital transformation. At Bryant Park Consulting, we foster a collaborative and supportive environment where our employees can thrive and grow professionally.

What you will do

As an Engagement Manager at Bryant Park Consulting, you will report to our Practice Manager and serve as a key leader in our NetSuite delivery practice. You will manage a team of up to 10 project managers, consultants, and analysts, ensuring the successful end-to-end execution of complex NetSuite implementation projects for our portfolio of clients.  This hands-on role requires someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is skilled at navigating complex client situations with professionalism, empathy, and confidence. Our successful Engagement Managers are adept at identifying and resolving conflict before it escalates, using clear communication, active listening, and sound judgment.  The ideal candidate will possess a balanced mindset—independent and self-motivated, but also highly collaborative and willing to ask for help when appropriate. You are comfortable making informed decisions autonomously while recognizing when involvement from leadership or peers is necessary.  In this role, you’ll also serve as a trusted partner to Principal and Senior Consultants leading implementations, providing meaningful support that enhances overall project execution while creating opportunities for shared learning and mutual growth.

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementation projects, hands-on where needed (Sponsor, Architect, or PM for strategic/high-visibility projects).
  • Manage and develop a delivery team, promoting a culture of accountability, curiosity, and mutual support.
  • Consistently act as an advocate for your team and your clients, especially in high-stakes or ambiguous situations.
  • Proactively identify potential conflict within teams or with clients and utilize strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to address issues constructively.
  • Foster transparent communication on project scope, timelines, and challenges; escalate problems appropriately when they arise.
  • Mentor and provide support to Principal and Senior Consultants on projects by leveraging your diverse experience in both delivery execution and client interaction, while seeking opportunities for them to learn from your domain expertise.
  • Guide your team through discovery, business process design, system configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Operate effectively within budgets and client expectations, and promote a strong internal planning and delivery discipline.
  • Collaborate with other Engagement Managers and leaders across verticals to grow our practice and continuously improve methods and tools.
  • Contribute to business development activities, such as scoping new work and participating in pitch efforts.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, including knowledge sharing, team enablement, and operational process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on NetSuite configuration and consulting/administration experience, 8+ full life cycle implementations
  • NetSuite Certifications heavily preferred - ERP Consultant, Administrator

  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage client and team interactions, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong background in finance/accounting, supply chain, consulting services, and/or industry specific experience
  • Capable of designing end-to-end solutions with SuiteCloud Platform tools (SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk)
