JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Donor Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing a range of essential donor stewardship programs to curate meaningful inperson and virtual engagement with individual donors and prospects. Within the Development Team, they sit on the Individual Philanthropy Team and report to the Senior Director of Individual Philanthropy.


This position plays a critical role in advancing Global Fund for Women’s mission by interfacing with some of our most committed donors and leading and building exceptional, valuesaligned donor experiences that will ultimately strengthen our funding base. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, strategic fundraiser with a proven track record of building and implementing impactful and meaningful donor trips, programming, and virtual and inperson events. They are energized by the potential to build truly special donor engagement opportunities, building and refining systems, committed to feminist values and global gender justice, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, multicultural team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate the Champions for Equality donor program, a principallevel giving program. In close collaboration with the Senior Director of Individual Philanthropy, this position will serve as liaison for the Global Fund for Women planning team responsible for developing Champions programming, engagements, and their curated donor learning journey. They will also lead the coordination of inperson retreats, international donor visits, and virtual learning opportunities
  • Lead an internal crossfunctional group to develop and implement our quarterly, virtual Donor Townhall series, as well as other virtual events for donors and prospects.
  • Support and develop strategic donor trip experiences, working in close collaboration with the VP of Development and Senior Director of Individual Philanthropy, trip advisory committees, and external partners and vendors. This position leads planning and logistics for all donor journeys where they engage with grantee partners and will help build a firstinclass, trustbased model of donor learning in line with Global Fund for Women’s values.
  • Partner with the Individual Philanthropy Team to support a range of bespoke donor engagements. This includes supporting giving circles and event strategy, program development and logistics, and maximizing donor experience and engagement with Global Fund for Women through inperson events.

                          • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in building individual donor programming, international donor trips, and donor events ranging from small gatherings to large events. Demonstrated success in engaging donors and prospects through strategic, exciting experiences.
                              • Proven ability to work with organizational leadership, Principal and Major donors, and partner with frontline fundraisers to create impactful engagement.
                                  • Handson experience with leading and developing international donor trips and meaningful learning opportunities with grassroots organizations.
                                      • Skilled in managing and leading logistics for donor programming and trips.
                                          • Highly organized and detailoriented, with the ability to produce clear, accurate information under tight deadlines and communicate effectively across diverse teams and audiences.

                                            • Salary range of $98,000 $152,000

                                              *This range is reflective of our highmarket geo and will vary based on the candidate’s city and state of residence.
