Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (New York, USA – Eastern Time)
Includes a 1hour unpaid break
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Our client is looking for a detailoriented AP Associate to support their growing finance team. This role is key to improving accounting operations, ensuring timely reconciliations, and strengthening financial reporting.

You’ll work closely with the AP Accounting Manager, gaining handson experience in a fastpaced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their accounting career.


Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices and expense reports accurately and on time

  • Review invoices for proper authorization, documentation, and GL coding

  • Manage the AP inbox, route invoices for approval, and escalate issues when needed

  • Resolve billing issues and discrepancies with vendors

  • Maintain organized and accurate AP records

  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and compliance with terms

  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close tasks

  • Work with the Manager on monthovermonth analytics

  • Prepare monthend reconciliations and compare data across systems

  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls

  • Participate in process improvement and automation projects


    • Requirements
      • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting

      • Fintech or highgrowth company experience is a plus

      • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems

      • Experience with core expense management platforms

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office

      • Strong multitasking and deadline management skills
