Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Commission on Cancer accreditation activities and run data analysis studies.
  • Assist with quality assurance reviews and provide data analysis to stakeholders.
  • Collect, code, classify, and interpret cancer case information, maintaining timely abstraction.
  • Train new hires and suggest opportunities for process improvements.

As an Oncology Data Specialist Coordinator III, you will perform the functions of a Tumor Registry Coordinator II as well as coordinate Commission on Cancer Accreditation (COCA) activities, run standard studies for data analysis, provide recommendations on studies’ protocol feasibility and marketing, and assist with quality assurance reviews. The cancer registry collects valuable information, contributes to caring for and educating cancer patients and is the foundation for cancer research.

A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
