Job description

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Specialist to drive our growth in the Americas, with a specific focus on large enterprise deals, Trust & Safety wellbeing solutions, and building our earlystage channel ecosystem alongside the US General Manager.

This role is a rare opportunity to join a fastgrowing global commercial team with an initial target of $750K ARR. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales with operational alignment to our North America General Manager, you’ll take ownership of outbound sales, broker partnersupported deals, and global Trust & Safety opportunities from North America and LATAM.

You’ll be empowered to find the lever that scales — whether outbound, partner, or inbound. Your early traction will directly inform future hiring, budget allocation, and the expansion of our US sales infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Business Ownership

  • Own outbound prospecting and dealclosing across key sectors including enterprise buyers, global procurement, and Trust & Safety functions.
  • Test and iterate on outbound strategies to identify scalable sales motions for the US market.
  • Manage and close inbound opportunities, as well as collaborate with the Marketing team to identify new tactics to mutually grow pipeline (e.g. marketing collateral and targeted industry case studies)
    • 2. Partner & Channel GTM Support

      • Work closely with the Head of North America to support early partnerled opportunities, including brokers, wellbeing consultants, and ecosystem partners.
      • Handle and run the endtoend sales cycle for referral deals initiated by North or Latin America channel partners
      • Represent Intellect at US broker and partner events
        • 3. Global Trust & Safety Accounts

          • Own the sales process for global Trust & Safety opportunities originating in the US and LATAM, including major BPOs, tech platforms, and social media firms.
          • Work with our inhouse clinical leaders to craft solutions that address burnout, trauma, and highrisk workforce needs.
            • Requirements

              • 6+ years in B2B sales, ideally within mental health, employee benefits, HR tech, or Trust & Safety services.
              • Proven track record of closing $100K+ ACV deals and managing multistakeholder sales cycles.
              • Experienced in outbound prospecting and also comfortable coselling with channel partners or brokers.
              • Selfstarter with a strong bias for action, experimentation, and GTM iteration.
              • Comfortable working in a fastpaced, crossregional team and managing ambiguity as we build.
              • Prior experience with commercial roles in healthcare, employee benefits and mental health is a big plus.
                • What We Offer:

                  • Highimpact role with a rapidly scaling global business
                  • Competitive compensation with strong performance upside
                  • Global team culture with a shared mission to redefine mental health at work
                  • Flexibility to work remotely, with quarterly travel for inperson alignment
                    • Location: Canada (Preferred) or remote within N America with travel as required.

This role is critical to our mission of delivering transformative mental health solutions across the region. If youre a sales professional passionate about partnering with brokers to drive growth and impact, we’d love to hear from you!
