Growth & Country Manager - (German Speaker)

The company offers personalized pet nutrition and health solutions powered by data and convenience. With proven product-market fit and strong growth in core markets, they are now expanding into Germany and looking for a strategic leader to drive success in this key region.

The role

We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Germany Country Manager to lead expansion into one of the biggest pet markets in Europe. In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll take full ownership of scaling the brand in Germany — with the ambition to triple market growth year over year. You’ll work at the intersection of marketing, growth, operations, and customer success, backed by a fast-moving team and a product-market fit that is already proven.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead market entry and overall expansion strategy in Germany

  • Own and manage the full marketing and growth funnel, including paid acquisition, digital partnerships, and local campaigns

  • Monitor and improve key performance marketing metrics (CAC, LTV, retention, payback period)

  • Adapt brand messaging and product-market fit to align with German consumer expectations

  • Leverage your general growth marketing stack experience (e.g. paid media, CRM, landing page optimization, SEO, analytics, etc.)

  • Execute and optimize email marketing and consumer branding strategies

  • Act as a sales-focused digital marketing lead, identifying and driving commercial opportunities

  • Plan and oversee the technical setup and execution of local marketing initiatives

  • Represent the brand in local media, events, and strategic partnerships

  • Build and manage a local team over time, starting in a hands-on “player-coach” capacity

  • Collaborate closely with product, tech, operations, and customer support teams

Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in growth marketing, digital sales, consulting, or business operations

  • Background in performance marketing and data-driven decision making

  • Strong understanding of D2C business models and digital KPIs

  • Project management skills with a track record of building and executing marketing plans

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or subscription-based environments

  • Native-level German and strong communication skills in English

  • Strong plus: knowledge of the German market and local consumer behavior

  • Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset with high ownership and execution capacity

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and remotely across international teams
