Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic Accounting and Bookkeeping Manager to lead and establish the accounting function for our expanding financial services division. This is an exceptional opportunity to build and manage comprehensive accounting operations from the ground up while working alongside seasoned financial professionals, including a CFO with 25 years of experience. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide exceptional financial services to innovative entrepreneurs while enjoying the autonomy to shape processes and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all day-to-day bookkeeping operations with full autonomy
  • Execute comprehensive month-end close procedures and financial reporting
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivables processes to ensure optimal cash flow management
  • Manage complete payroll operations and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Serve as primary liaison and coordinator with external financial service providers including tax professionals, fractional CFOs, and valuation experts
  • Independently drive the accounting function while collaborating with experienced senior leadership team
  • Establish and optimize accounting processes and procedures for a rapidly growing organization


Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivables management, and payroll processing
  • MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
  • Strong English communication skills with ability to interact professionally with clients and service providers
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex processes autonomously
  • Extensive experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting
  • Accounting or finance degree strongly preferred
  • Bonus qualifications: Accounting firm experience or Fortune 500 company background highly valued but not required
  • Immediate availability required due to urgent business growth needs
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-driven remote environment
