Aduro Advisors is looking for bright and talented individuals to join our team working to support top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. The Onboarding Client Relationship Manager will be the primary point of contact for Aduro clients post-sale. This candidate will guide clients through their initial experience with Aduro, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. They will work closely with our Head of Client Experience and the entirety of the Onboarding Team.

The Onboarding Client Relationship Manager is a key contributor to the Onboarding team which is responsible for getting clients set up in our systems, understanding the nuances and preferences of our clients, and preparing clients to transition to their ongoing service teams. Ultimately, this role will project manage the onboarding for all clients, provide clients with a white glove experience, and help establish a great first impression with our clients. Ideal candidates for this role will have project management experience, demonstrated ability to balance several projects at once while staying organized, and care deeply about exceeding clients’ expectations, and have an interest or knowledge about venture capital and private equity industry. 


Here is the type of work you will do:

  • Welcoming New Clients: You'll be the friendly face that introduces clients to Aduro’s suite of services, setting a positive tone from day one.
  • Guiding the Onboarding Journey: You'll manage Aduro’s client onboarding process, which includes approximately 50 -70 clients and spans 3-6 months. This includes keeping clients informed about their onboarding progress and coordinating with various internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Building Strong Relationships: You'll proactively communicate with clients, gather their feedback, and facilitate connections with the right service providers and our ongoing service teams.
  • Providing Exceptional Service: You'll ensure clients receive a "white glove" experience, offering valuable resources and education as they get started.
  • Educating and Empowering Clients: Over time, you'll lead initial discussions with clients, helping them understand how to best leverage our support during onboarding. You'll also educate them on key processes like their first close, capital calls, and quarterly reporting.


The salary for the Onboarding Client Relationship Manager role will range from $85,000 - $110,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in client service, client success, or client-facing project management.
  • Experience in an operations role within venture capital or private equity (like a Platform Manager or Investor Relations Manager) or have worked with executive-level contacts is a plus.
  • You’re passionate about creating an outstanding client experience.
  • Have a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can easily build rapport with both clients and team members.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary Description
$85,000 - $110,000
