Leads and directs team responsible for defining and applying the company's unified operational security objectives by working closely with the security leadership team, partnering with organizations, technical staff, and business units in the Protection Services Operations Center (PSOC) Team.
Responsible for the monitoring and intelligence, incident response, and investigations programs which are in place to avoid business disruption, threats to personal safety or security, or respond as efficiently as possible.
Job Duties
Responsible for operational physical security, investigations, and incident response for the enterprise to proactively monitor, identify and address issues or incidents that impede or could disrupt business success.
Works proactively to address operational discipline, business processes, and procedures, aimed at improving the effectiveness of the enterprise security and response capabilities.
Identifies interdependencies and builds processes and procedures to partner with peers in key organizations such as Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), Legal, Compliance, Travel, Government Affairs, Communications and Health Plan Operations.
Designs, implements, and coordinates the federated protection, security, and crisis management functions across the enterprise.
Oversees and delivers tactical, operational 24x7x365 programs for enterprise protection services including physical security, crisis management and incident response.
Leads and coordinates security investigations to closure including implementation of appropriate remediation measures to reduce risk of future exploitation.
Aligns and coordinates internal multidisciplinary security functions with global security objectives and initiatives.
Designs, implements, and oversees monitoring intelligence capabilities and activity supporting intelligence assessments to determine potential risks and threats to Molina people, property, or information
Serves as the backbone for enterprise incident management, escalation notifications and coordination of actions across a dispersed team during emergencies and major business interruptions.
Prepares risk assessments and situation reports to various business lines and stakeholders across the enterprise. Designs and delivers metrics and measurements supporting program evolution and validation.
Develops and maintains the PSOC's policies, standards, Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, escalation protocols, etc.
Identifies potential growth problems and mature operational security practices so they scale.
Provides leadership and methodologies to solve analytical problems when raw unfinished data contains information gaps and requires validation.
Implements processes, procedures and systems that will help ensure that the company's protection capabilities remain in compliance with all laws, regulations, and best practices.
Evaluates, designs, and deploys integrated systems and technology that support response, intelligence, service delivery and organizational strategy.
Develops program documentation including standards, procedures, templates, and frameworks in support of the program and meeting regulatory requirements for physical security, crisis management and incident response.
Job Qualifications Required Qualifications
At least 10 years' experience across Physical Security, Investigations, Intelligence, or Crisis Management disciplines, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
At least 3 years demonstrated leadership in corporate security operations programs at a national or enterprise level.
At least 4 years' experience with project management.
Able to remain calm and professional while reacting and assisting during high-stress situations or emergencies
Comfortable and capable with developing/presenting data-driven solutions and recommendations.
Experienced with executive presentation development.
Superb organizational skills and the ability to delegate effectively to meet delivery targets.
Ability to engage/motivate others to deliver results. Ability to build rapport and gain the respect and cooperation of both technology and business leaders.
Someone that thrives in ambiguity and makes quality decisions in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Able to communicate and influence at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional matrix environment.
Experience with physical security, business continuity and disaster recovery systems. Including experience developing, integrating, and deploying enterprise systems.
Strong knowledge of: Security Operations Center core functions, services, and operations at a hands-on and management-level, threat assessment, investigations and protective intelligence, physical security protection services including workplace, field and executive protection, and crisis and incident management best practices,
Experience leveraging advanced technology and remote security systems to provide the highest level of service,
Knowledge of outsourcing, offshoring, and hybrid organizational delivery models.
Familiarity with reporting sources, social media channels, as well as other channels for real-time monitoring of current events.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications like Certified Protection Professional, (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), etc.
Professional organization membership such as American Technical Association (ATAP), ASIS International) ASIS, or International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2
