Fieldpiece Instruments is hiring a strategic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for our office in Doetinchem to support our HR team in Europe.  Reporting to the CHRO, you’ll collaborate closely with local leadership and the global HR team to drive HR initiatives including talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, and culture.  You’ll also support the roll out and integration of Fieldpiece programs and initiatives within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to European leadership, aligning HR strategies with business objectives and Fieldpiece’s Global HR function.   
  • Provide expert advice and support on all HR areas, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Regionalize global content as needed to ensure alignment. 
  • Lead efforts to foster a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging organizational culture aligned with corporate values. 
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations across European countries. Partner with local counsel and payroll providers to ensure appropriate controls and compliance. 
  • In partnership with the CHRO, facilitate organizational design and change management initiatives that are culturally appropriate and aligned with the organization’s long-term vision and growth strategy.  
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies to meet regional needs. 
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support employee experience programs. 
  • Analyze regional HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. 
  • Partner with global HR functions to ensure consistent policies and practices. 
  • Provide coaching and development support to managers and employees. 
  • Lead or support HR projects and initiatives at the regional level.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Fluency in English and Dutch; additional European languages are a plus. 
  • Proven experience at the Director level as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a multinational organization (10+ years of experience).  
  • Experience with global HCM platforms with a preference for Workday
  • Extensive knowledge of all HR facets, including talent management, employee relations, organizational development, compensation, and compliance across EMEA.  
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across multiple European countries.  Experience across all of EMEA a plus.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and influence skills. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience working with global teams.
