Redstone Commodity Search are working with a fast-growing renewable energy trading house looking to hire a Sales Trader to join their team for a role based in Amsterdam with potential for remote working longer term.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

\n
• Actively engage in the trading and sales activity within the DACH region within a variety of products within the renewables space and energy more widely (including biofuel, gas, power, carbon).
\n
• Actively conduct market research as to identify new business opportunities within the DACH region.
\n
• Utilise market research to build out a book of business and maintain the existing portfolio.
\n
• Work within the teams to maximise business opportunities.
\n
• Role reports to the Senior Sales Trader.
\n

Key Qualifications / Experience

\n
• Between 1-3 years of experience within a relevant field, including commodities trading, broking or business development of a relevant product (such as biofuels, carbon, gas, power).
\n
• A Bachelors’ degree or higher within a relevant field such as finance or economics.
\n
• Preferably have experience developing a book of business.
\n
• Fluency in German and English is necessary.
\n
• Role is to be located in Amsterdam for at least the first 6 months.
\n
