Position Overview: We are seeking a technically-savvy Project Manager to support and oversee access control system installations. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of project coordination or junior project management experience who is ready to step into a larger leadership role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing field teams, coordinating schedules, and interpreting CAD drawings to ensure installations meet design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage access control system installation projects from kickoff through close-out.
Review and interpret CAD drawings and system schematics to guide project planning and execution.
Act as the liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery.
Conduct site walks, verify installation progress, and resolve field-level issues as they arise.
Assist in preparing and updating project documentation, submittals, and as-builts.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and task assignments using project management tools.
Ensure projects comply with customer requirements, building codes, and internal standards.
Identify scope changes or risks and escalate when appropriate.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in physical security, low-voltage systems, or related technical project management roles.
Familiarity with access control hardware, cabling standards, and basic networking concepts.
Proficient in reading and interpreting CAD files (AutoCAD preferred).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience using project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Lenel, AMAG, Genetec, or similar access control platforms.
Basic CAD drafting skills or the ability to make minor edits to drawings.
OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training.
