Construction Project Manager

Company Description

DesignBuild Search have been engaged by a Global Construction Consultancy as they have a need for a Project Manager at Senior or Associate level for their upcoming developments in the Education, Healthcare, Commercial, & Residential sectors.

Can be based in Dublin, Cork, or Galway with flexible hybrid working possible.

Job Description

• Manage large scale construction projects for clients, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, with high quality
• Monitor the daytoday activities in the field, managing the flow of information, and reporting and tracking issues arising from progress, quality and safety
• Assist in completing the handover plan, ensuring documentation is completed and expectations are met on time and with quality
• Coordinate with the client team, consultant team and the contractor
• Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with the client to make improvements and revisions
• Lead and attend key meetings to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems and communicate impacts to partners
• Review proposed variations and delays in the works

• Qualifications

  • Circa 10 years project management experience
  • Hold a qualification in Project Management
  • Degree in a Constrcution, Architecture, or Engineering discipline
  • Previous consultancy or client side experience
  • Excellent design management skills
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Experience in winning new work or ensuring repeat business is highly desired
