OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our People team. In this role, you will lead the development, analysis, and administration of compensation strategies and employee benefits programs across our U.S. operations. You will partner closely with Finance and HR leaders to ensure our total rewards offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has deep expertise in compensation design, benefits management, and employment compliance.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compensation Strategy & Operations

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze compensation structures that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with market benchmarks (especially for tech roles).
  • Conduct regular benchmarking, internal equity audits, and total compensation reviews across U.S. roles.
  • Partner with Finance and People teams during budgeting, merit cycles, and promotion processes.
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with applicable U.S. federal, state, and local wage and hour laws (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws, salary history bans).

Benefits Administration

  • Own and optimize U.S. employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and any wellness or mental health initiatives.
  • Manage broker relationships, plan renewals, open enrollment, and employee communications.
  • Evaluate plan utilization and recommend improvements that are cost-effective and employee-friendly.
  • Serve as a resource to employees for benefits-related questions and issues.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure HR practices and policies are compliant with U.S. employment laws and regulations (EEOC, ACA, ERISA, COBRA, ADA, etc.).
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR policies, and required postings.
  • Lead audits or responses related to labor, wage, or benefits compliance (e.g., ACA filings, 401(k) audits).
  • Monitor new legislation and advise leadership on impacts and necessary updates.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation laws, regulations, and trends, particularly in tech-driven markets.
  • Experience administering employee benefits and leading open enrollment processes.
  • Proven ability to conduct compensation benchmarking, data analysis, and internal equity reviews.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and compensation tools; advanced Excel or data modeling skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.



COMPENSATION INFORMATION: 

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.​
