The part you will play:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts across Spain and LATAM. This role is critical to growing our presence in the private car transfer segment of ground transportation through strategic alliances and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B travel sales and be proficient in developing compelling business cases for revenue growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Strategically identify and secure partnership opportunities within the B2B and B2B2C travel sectors, emphasizing on private car transfer services.
  • Manage and enhance relationships with key stakeholders in the travel industry, including online travel agencies (OTAs), wholesalers, tour operators, and travel tech companies.
  • Drive the negotiation process, creating innovative, win-win deals that align with company goals, ensuring exclusivity and favorable terms.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently generating new leads and managing high-potential partnerships across Spain and LATAM.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams to manage the technical aspects of partner integrations, ensuring smooth onboarding and continuous support.
  • Employ analytical skills to assess market trends and derive data-driven strategies that result in compelling business cases for partners.
  • Maintain a dynamic presence in the industry through regular participation in trade fairs, business meetings, and continuous communication with partners.
  • Report directly to the Team Lead Strategic Partnerships, providing regular updates on partnership development and performance metrics.


Requirements:


  • Must have native fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
  • Over 5 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in the travel sector, with demonstrated expertise in key account management and strategic sales.
  • Proven ability to close deals effectively, employing strategic pitching techniques, creating a sense of urgency, and understanding stakeholder dynamics.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a track record of developing compelling business cases for partnerships.
  • Deep understanding and interest in travel technology, including API integration and web technologies pertinent to the travel sector.


Bonus Qualifications:


  • Residency in Berlin or Spain
  • Experience in online travel sales environments, working with OTAs, travel aggregators, and tech consolidators.
  • Technical savvy with a thorough understanding of travel technology platforms and third-party solutions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with sales to wholesalers, tour operators, and travel agencies.
