English is used in the international energy sector and in government-to-government international engagement, but its penetration in the broader domestic professional market is more limited than in more internationally oriented markets. Third, the geopolitical context in the South Caucasus region, including the history of conflict with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh, creates regional risk considerations that senior professionals should assess with current information.
