Freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist – EMEA

Freelance Engagement | Remote

Location: Remote, with flexibility to work across US, Latin American, and Asian time zones as required.

Engagement: Full-time freelance contract for an initial period of four months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. Any extension is subject to mutual agreement and is not guaranteed.

Not Your Typical Workplace…

Our remote-first team spans the globe, helping companies hire, onboard, and manage international talent through smart, flexible workforce solutions. Fast-paced, people-driven, and globally connected, we empower businesses to build teams without borders.

More Than an Engagement

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist to support WorkMotion during an exciting period of growth.

This is an opportunity for an independent recruitment professional who enjoys taking ownership, moving quickly, and delivering results. You'll manage full-cycle recruitment across both technical and non-technical roles, helping us attract and secure exceptional talent across EMEA and other international markets.

You'll work closely with Hiring Managers, People Operations, and Department Leads, acting as a trusted recruitment partner and ensuring an efficient, consistent, and positive candidate experience.

Where You’ll Make an Impact…

  • Drive Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own end-to-end recruitment for a variety of technical roles (Engineering, Product) and non-technical roles (Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other business functions).
  • Source Exceptional Talent: Use creative sourcing strategies, AI-powered search tools, and direct outreach to identify and engage high-quality talent, including passive candidates, across international markets.
  • Deliver an Excellent Candidate Experience: Manage candidates throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring timely communication, transparency, and a positive experience.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers: Advise hiring managers on talent availability, salary benchmarks, market trends, and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Manage Recruitment Priorities: Take ownership of multiple requisitions, balance competing priorities, and maintain momentum across hiring processes.
  • Drive Recruitment Performance: Monitor recruitment data and conversion metrics, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve hiring efficiency.
  • Champion Inclusive Hiring: Promote diverse sourcing strategies and fair, consistent evaluation practices throughout the recruitment process.

What You’ll Bring…

  • 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with hands-on responsibility for recruiting across both technical and non-technical roles, ideally within EMEA.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment independently, from sourcing and screening through to offer management.
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority vacancies simultaneously.
  • Practical experience using ATS platforms, ideally Workable, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Proficiency in AI-powered recruitment tools (e.g. ChatGPT or Claude) to enhance sourcing, productivity, and candidate communication.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and guide hiring managers towards timely hiring decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders across different cultures and markets.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate candidate records, consistent follow-up, and a well-managed recruitment process.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Bonus Points If You Bring…

  • Experience recruiting within HR-tech, SaaS, or Employer of Record (EOR) sectors.
  • Good knowledge of EMEA labour market dynamics, compensation standards, and remote-first talent markets.
  • Experience with employer branding initiatives or virtual recruitment events.

Not Your Typical Team…

You'll be working closely with our Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams, based across Germany, Spain, Italy, and Egypt.

We're a motivated, fully distributed team that believes remote doesn't mean disconnected. We value ownership, open communication, collaboration, and people who bring energy and fresh ideas to the way we work.

Why WorkMotion?

  • Global exposure: Work with an international team and recruit talent across different markets.
  • Remote working: Work remotely while supporting a globally distributed organisation.
  • Meaningful impact: Make a direct contribution to our hiring efforts during an exciting period of growth.
  • A collaborative environment: Work alongside a passionate team that values initiative, ideas, and results.

Interested?

If you're an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can help us find exceptional talent across borders, we'd love to hear from you.

Engagement details: Full-time freelance engagement for an initial four-month period, with potential extension subject to business needs and mutual agreement.

At WorkMotion, we're proud to be an equal opportunity organisation. If you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please let our Recruitment Team know.
