Summary

Our client is hiring a Business Analyst to turn business needs into a clear, estimated and sequenced plan for our Marketing Cloud work. You will work with business documentation, business users, and the Marketing Cloud Developer to write user stories, build the implementation plan and timeline, and produce estimates. Strong communication is essential: you are the bridge between marketing, clinical and operations stakeholders and the technical team.

Responsibilities

• Review existing business documentation, process maps, reports and data definitions to understand how prospects become patients today.
• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with business users to capture goals, pain points, and requirements across the patient lifecycle.
• Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and maintain a prioritized backlog.
• Work with the Marketing Cloud Developer to translate requirements into technical scope, confirm feasibility, and gather effort estimates.
• Build the implementation plan and timeline, including phases, dependencies, risks, and resource needs; keep it current as scope changes.
• Document current-state and future-state processes and data flows, including differences in naming conventions and business processes across source systems.
• Define reporting and conversion metrics with stakeholders, and help validate that delivered work meets them.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, status updates, UAT, and change management; communicate progress, risks and decisions to leadership.
• Support the license and roadmap review by capturing the business problems that candidate features would solve.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst on technology or marketing-technology projects.
• Must have experience scoping out SFMC for a fresh implementation.
• Must have understanding of Salesforce Core's data model, Contact IDs, Subscriber Key, and MC Connector.
• Must have admin skills in SFMC to set up Business Units, SAP, Data Extensions, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable facilitating workshops and explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements, and to manage a backlog.
• Experience building implementation plans, timelines and estimates with developers.
• Ability to analyze business documentation and process flows and spot gaps and conflicts.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple stakeholders.

Preferred

1. Healthcare experience (patient acquisition, access, scheduling, referral, or provider-marketing workflows) and familiarity with HIPAA.
2. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, or marketing automation concepts, including journeys, segmentation, and data extensions.
3. Experience with data and reporting requirements, such as funnel and conversion metrics.
4. Tools experience such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Lucidchart or Visio.
5. Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Salesforce Business Analyst, or Agile/Scrum.

• An implementation plan and timeline that stakeholders understand and agree to.
• Business users who feel heard and are kept informed throughout delivery.
