Digital Marketing Specialist
eCommerce
Remote, Philippines | 3 to 5 years of experience | Australian market
OutsourcedIn is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who enjoys building campaigns, understanding why people buy and getting the details right.
You are comfortable inside an ad account, an online store and a CRM. You can take a brief and turn it into a campaign, spot where customers are dropping out and make practical changes that improve the result. You care about the words on the page as much as whether the tracking works.
This role brings that work together across three Australian brands. There are online stores to improve, campaigns to run, commercial enquiries to generate and customers who could become regular buyers. With a transition from BigCommerce to Shopify and GoHighLevel being introduced, you will also help put important marketing systems into everyday use.
About Our Client
Our client operates three businesses across labelling products, office furniture and workplace supplies. Each has its own website, social media presence and advertising activity, serving a mix of consumers and business customers.
The products are connected, but the buying decisions are different. Understanding those differences will be an important part of your work.
Labels and consumables: A customer may be searching for an exact printer model, product code or label size. The opportunity is to help them find the correct product, place an order and return when they need more.
Office furniture: A customer buying one chair needs useful product information and a straightforward purchase. A business furnishing an office may need quantities, delivery details and a quote before committing.
Workplace supplies: A first order can develop into an ongoing business account. Marketing needs to support regular purchasing, relevant offers and consistent follow up.
You will help each brand reach the right customers while keeping its messaging, campaigns and results distinct. Customer information and retention activity will be coordinated where relevant and permitted.
The Role
You will implement the agreed marketing plan and personally deliver the work behind it. Your responsibilities will cover paid advertising, Shopify updates, product SEO, content, email campaigns, GoHighLevel workflows and performance reporting.
We want someone who can follow direction accurately and use their judgement. When a campaign underperforms, you should be able to investigate likely causes, make changes within your authority and explain what happened. When an issue needs a commercial decision or specialist technical help, raise it clearly with enough information to move it forward.
Priorities will be agreed across the three brands. You will be expected to keep work organised, use approved budgets and offers, and follow through from implementation to testing and review.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads and Paid Customer Acquisition
Your paid campaigns will support both product purchases and qualified business enquiries. You will need to understand what the customer is trying to buy and whether the campaign makes commercial sense.
Build, launch and optimise Google Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns around agreed products, customer groups and locations. Maintain clear campaign structures and separate reporting for each brand.
Review search terms, negative keywords, bids, budgets, product performance and geographic results. Identify irrelevant traffic and adjust campaigns within the agreed spending limits.
Match the search, advertisement and destination page. Someone looking for replacement labels should reach a relevant product or collection, with compatibility and purchase information easy to find.
Investigate weak performance by checking the audience, search intent, offer, landing page, stock availability and delivery conditions. Make changes within your authority and record the problem, your reasoning and the result.
Use available margin and sales information when recommending where to increase or reduce spend. Consider order value, delivery costs, returns and repeat purchase potential alongside advertising returns.
Run relevant Meta campaigns and remarketing activity. Test audiences, messages and creative variations against a clear objective, and record what each test teaches you.
Product Feeds and Merchant Center
A product campaign depends on accurate product information. You will be expected to check the feed and the website together when something is wrong.
Maintain product titles, descriptions, images, identifiers, prices and availability within the relevant feed setup. Check that advertised information matches the product page.
Monitor disapprovals, warnings, missing attributes and other feed issues. Identify the source of recurring errors and complete corrections within your access.
Review performance by product group and brand. Flag products that are consuming budget without worthwhile sales, as well as products that merit further testing.
Check feeds after catalogue updates, promotions and migration changes. Raise stock, pricing or fulfilment issues before continuing to promote affected products.
Shopify Management and Migration Support
You will support the marketing side of the BigCommerce to Shopify transition and continue improving the stores once they are live.
Prepare and maintain products, variants, collections, images, descriptions and promotional content. Organise information around how customers choose, including label compatibility, furniture dimensions and workplace supply categories.
Review priority existing pages and their new destinations. Help prepare redirect requirements, then check that important links from search results, advertisements and emails reach the correct pages.
Check priority product content, prices, availability, forms and tracking before and after launch. Keep a clear list of issues, their business impact and their status.
Test shopping and enquiry journeys on mobile and desktop, including product selection, variant choices, promotional codes, forms and checkout where authorised.
Improve product and campaign pages so customers can understand the offer and take the next step. For larger furniture requirements, make the route to a commercial quote clear.
Complete routine Shopify configuration and content updates. Identify custom development or integration work that requires additional expertise and provide a useful brief on the problem.
SEO and Local Search
Your SEO work should help the business appear for relevant searches and help visitors make a buying decision once they arrive.
Research product and commercial search intent, including model numbers, product codes, label sizes, furniture categories and business purchasing requirements. Use this to prioritise agreed page improvements.
Improve product titles, descriptions, collection content, metadata and internal links. Make compatibility, specifications and practical buying information clear and accurate.
Create useful buying guides, comparisons and FAQs based on real customer questions. Check product claims against approved information before publishing.
Use Google Search Console and analytics to monitor visibility, indexing and organic performance. Investigate broken links, missing pages and changes following the migration.
Maintain relevant Google Business Profiles and consistent business information. Support local search opportunities appropriate to the business's actual service and delivery areas.
GoHighLevel Setup and CRM Workflows
The CRM needs to make enquiries easier to handle and customer follow up more reliable. You will help configure the agreed processes and test how they behave in practice.
Set up and maintain contact fields, brand segments, forms, pipelines, lead assignment and workflows. Keep the originating brand, lead source, enquiry type and current status identifiable.
Configure pipeline stages around the business's agreed sales process, including enquiries, quotes and completed sales. Confirm what information the person handling each enquiry needs.
Configure and test supported connections between Shopify, website forms and GoHighLevel. Check contact capture, relevant field mapping and source information.
Test an enquiry from submission through acknowledgement, assignment and follow up. Check repeated submissions, missing information and duplicate records so customers do not enter unnecessary overlapping sequences.
Review what happens when someone replies, purchases, receives a quote or opts out. Adjust workflow conditions and stop rules where the available data and integration support them.
Maintain a simple record of live automations, their triggers, intended audience and purpose. Document changes so later updates can be made accurately.
Email Marketing and Customer Retention
Different customers need different reasons to return. You will build campaigns around their purchasing behaviour and their relationship with the relevant brand.
Create and send promotional emails with a clear audience, offer and next step. Check product information, links, display on mobile and the intended customer segment before sending.
Build abandoned checkout, replenishment and customer reactivation campaigns using the agreed platforms and available data. Check that reminders stop when they are no longer relevant.
For labels and consumables, use purchase history to identify relevant repeat ordering opportunities. Check that the products promoted match the customer's likely requirements.
For furniture, support incomplete purchases and commercial enquiries with useful information about products, options or delivery. Distinguish an open enquiry from a customer who already has a quote.
For workplace supplies, support regular ordering and business account development with relevant offers and follow up based on known buying patterns.
Coordinate cross selling where the customer context, brand approach and communication permissions support it. Monitor delivery, clicks, conversions and unsubscribe activity, and use the findings to improve the next campaign.
Content and Social Media
Each brand needs content that fits its products and customers. You will be expected to create useful material and maintain a realistic publishing schedule alongside campaign work.
Maintain content calendars aligned with agreed product priorities, promotions and seasonal opportunities. Keep the brands' messages and assets clearly organised.
Write advertising copy, product content, social posts, emails and landing pages in clear English suited to Australian customers.
Turn product information into useful content, such as a compatibility explanation, a furniture comparison or a practical guide to buying in bulk.
Create straightforward campaign assets using available product images and approved brand material. Identify additional assets needed and prepare clear briefs where more specialist creative work is required.
Monitor relevant comments and messages, and route commercial enquiries to the agreed contact. Use recurring customer questions to improve future content.
B2B Enquiries and Sales Follow Up
A commercial enquiry can involve several steps before it becomes revenue. Your role is to improve the quality of those enquiries and make their progress visible.
Build campaign pages and forms for bulk orders, commercial furniture requirements and recurring office supply accounts. Collect useful details such as products, quantities and delivery location without making the form unnecessarily difficult.
Support targeted B2B campaigns and agreed LinkedIn or email outreach activity. Adapt the message to the purchasing needs of business owners, office managers and other relevant buyers.
Check that enquiries reach the right person and carry the information needed for a response. Help maintain follow up visibility through the CRM.
Work with the business to understand which enquiries become quotes and which quotes become orders. Use feedback on suitability, timing and purchasing requirements to refine campaigns.
Tracking and Commercial Reporting
You should be able to explain what the results mean and how reliable the underlying information is.
Maintain GA4, Google Tag Manager and advertising conversion tracking for the agreed purchase and enquiry actions. Validate events after website or campaign changes.
Investigate discrepancies between advertising conversions, website orders and CRM enquiries. Check for duplicate submissions, missing events and differences in reporting periods before drawing conclusions.
Report by brand and campaign, separating online purchases from commercial enquiries. Include relevant measures such as acquisition cost, advertising returns, conversion rate, average order value and repeat purchases.
Use available sales and margin data to assess profitability after advertising costs. Explain when a change in stock, pricing, promotions or delivery availability may have affected the result.
Track B2B enquiry quality, quote progress and completed sales with the business. Keep reported marketing results connected to what happened after the lead was generated.
Provide clear weekly updates and monthly performance reviews. Record the change made, the reason, the period reviewed and the outcome, with a practical recommendation for what to do next.
Your First 90 Days
The initial focus is to understand the businesses, establish reliable foundations and put the highest priority improvements into use. The exact sequence will follow the Shopify timetable, available access and agreed business priorities.
First 30 Days
Learn the product ranges, customers and sales processes. Review the existing campaigns, websites, feeds and measurement. Establish a baseline for each brand and a prioritised list of practical fixes. Map the agreed CRM process and the information needed to handle enquiries properly.
Days 31 to 60
Launch or improve the agreed priority campaigns and pages. Put initial CRM capture and follow up workflows into use after testing. Complete the relevant marketing checks for the Shopify transition as its schedule allows, and establish clear reporting for each business.
Days 61 to 90
Use the first results to refine targeting, spending, pages and follow up. Review enquiry quality with the business, improve the initial retention campaigns and address recurring feed or workflow problems. Present the next practical improvements with evidence from the work completed.
What Good Performance Looks Like
The work is accurate, organised and connected to commercial outcomes. Campaigns launch with the correct products, offers, links and tracking. Enquiries reach the right people. Automations behave as intended, and reports make it clear where progress is being made.
Over time, the focus will be profitable online sales, repeat purchasing and qualified business opportunities. Targets will reflect each brand's baseline, margins, approved budget and operating conditions. You should be able to explain the contribution of your work and the limitations of the available data.
How You Will Work
Follow the agreed brief and keep commitments visible. Bring practical ideas, explain why they are worth testing and work within approved budgets, offers and brand requirements.
Check your work before it reaches customers. Review the content, click the links, test the form and confirm the relevant tracking or workflow. Keep a record of changes and raise blockers early, with a clear explanation of what you have already investigated.
Use AI and automation where they help with research, first drafts, analysis or repetitive tasks. You remain responsible for product accuracy, customer relevance and the quality of anything published.
The Successful Applicant
You will have 3 to 5 years of practical digital marketing experience, including eCommerce work you have personally delivered. You should be able to walk us through a campaign or improvement, explain your contribution and discuss the results with confidence.
Essential Experience
Practical Google Ads experience, including Search and Shopping, with working knowledge of Merchant Center, product feeds and campaign optimisation.
Shopify experience covering product and collection updates, promotions, landing pages and improvements to the buying experience.
Practical GoHighLevel experience with forms, contact organisation, pipelines, workflows and email campaigns.
Working knowledge of product and collection SEO, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
Experience writing and implementing marketing content, including advertising copy, website content and email campaigns.
The ability to interpret performance data, investigate problems and recommend proportionate changes.
Strong written and spoken English, attention to detail and the organisation needed to manage work across several brands.
Experience We Would Also Value
Previous involvement in a BigCommerce to Shopify migration, Meta advertising, B2B quote generation or marketing to Australian customers would be useful. Experience with large catalogues, consumables, office supplies, furniture or regular business purchasing would help you understand the products and customers more quickly.
Why This Opportunity Is Worth Considering
You will have the chance to get to know three related brands properly and see your work develop over time. A change you make to a product page, an advertisement or a customer email can be followed through to orders, enquiries and repeat business.
The variety is practical: everyday product purchases, larger commercial requirements and customers who return regularly. The Shopify transition and GHL implementation also give you the opportunity to help build systems the business will use every day.
For someone who enjoys doing the work, understanding the customer and improving the result, there is plenty here to get stuck into. You will work remotely from the Philippines, supporting an Australian client through OutsourcedIn.
