Job description

Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Digital Marketing & Operations Specialist

Compensation range: $2500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: The client is an established, proudly Australian-owned business that has spent years supplying furniture, resources, and equipment to early learning centres across the country. They believe every early learning environment deserves thoughtful, functional design that feels warm and welcoming;  spaces where children can genuinely thrive. Beyond supplying products, they offer an end-to-end design service for new and existing centres, working closely with owners, directors, and educators to bring their vision to life. They are a collaborative, passionate team with deep roots in the early childhood sector and a genuine commitment to quality in everything they do.

Role Overview: We are seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented Digital Marketing & Operations Specialist to provide the operational and digital support that underpins the client's marketing team. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in managing HubSpot, maintaining WordPress websites, building and supporting marketing campaigns, managing reporting, and helping generate leads through digital channels.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of marketing, technology and operations — someone who loves building systems, solving problems, improving processes, and helping turn marketing plans into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Operations & Automation

  • Manage and maintain HubSpot and related marketing systems
  • Build and maintain workflows, forms, landing pages and email campaigns
  • Support customer journeys, lead nurturing and marketing automation
  • Maintain CRM data quality, segmentation and reporting
  • Support campaign setup, tracking and performance measurement
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and operational efficiency

Website & Digital Platforms

  • Maintain and update WordPress websites
  • Publish website content, blogs, landing pages and resources
  • Work with the product team to support content updates and product publishing
  • Support website improvements and user experience initiatives
  • Ensure digital content remains accurate, current and aligned to campaign priorities

Lead Generation & Digital Performance

  • Support lead generation activities across paid, organic and owned channels
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives through audience segmentation, campaign setup, lead nurturing and performance reporting
  • Assist with campaign tracking, attribution and conversion reporting
  • Implement SEO recommendations and website optimisation activities
  • Support paid media administration and performance monitoring
  • Produce performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements

Essential

  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing, marketing operations or marketing automation
  • Strong hands-on HubSpot experience — workflows, forms, automation, reporting and CRM management
  • Experience managing WordPress websites
  • Knowledge of email marketing and marketing automation
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals
  • Experience supporting digital campaigns and lead generation activities
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment

Desirable

  • Experience with Google Ads or other paid media platforms
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing teams
  • Experience working with or for Australian businesses
  • Knowledge of conversion tracking and attribution

What Success Looks Like

After 12 months, you will be a trusted member of the marketing team — helping deliver a well-organised, data-driven marketing function. You will have improved the way campaigns are executed, ensured HubSpot is being used effectively, kept the websites current, and provided the reporting and operational support the business needs to grow.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)

Apply once. Then go straight to the hiring manager.

After you apply, unlock the direct contact details of the people who actually make the call. A quick follow-up makes you 5x more likely to land an interview.
