Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript

Our quality engineering organization is looking for a Senior Automation Tester with strong JavaScript expertise. In this role, you can shape robust automation capabilities and deepen your knowledge of current quality engineering approaches Responsibilities Design and implement durable automation frameworks that scale with business demands and technical complexity Coordinate with product, engineering, and delivery partners to meet deadlines without compromising quality expectations Bring a quality perspective to system-design discussions and help determine appropriate testing directions Provide detailed peer feedback on test implementations to improve code consistency and maintainability Troubleshoot complex automation challenges arising at different stages of test development and execution Mentor junior colleagues by supporting their technical learning and professional development Take part in project planning by helping define test scope and develop realistic implementation timelines Explore emerging testing trends and incorporate valuable advances into established automation practices Document test strategies, technical decisions, and important processes to enable transparent quality control Work with relevant stakeholders to define measurable goals and ensure deliverables meet agreed acceptance conditions Requirements A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in test automation or quality engineering Advanced JavaScript ability for writing and supporting automated testing scenarios Experience with Playwright and other JavaScript-based UI automation technologies for testing web applications Understanding of API and web service automation techniques for checking backend functionality Knowledge of version control systems for tracking, reviewing, and managing changes to test assets Expertise in automation framework architecture for establishing extensible and sustainable test platforms Experience using JavaScript BDD solutions to implement behavior-based automated validation Awareness of AI tools and concepts that can be used to optimize test design and execution B2-level English or higher, with the ability to communicate clearly in a professional setting
