Job description

Keeping NewWorld’s client shows and Creator Command Centers running on time, across every team and every deliverable.

  • Location: Remote and US-based, with the option to work from our New York office
  • Type: Contract, with the potential to convert to full-time
  • Compensation: $9,000–$12,000 per month
  • Travel: Occasional, aligned with convenings and key engagements

About the role

This role works across NewWorld Strategies’ client shows and Creator Command Centers, the two kinds of client work the division delivers. Both depend on many teams and partners moving in step.

Working hand in hand with our clients and project teams, you’ll be the day-to-day coordinator and point of contact across client projects. You’ll rally NewWorld’s creative, strategy, and operations teams around each client’s priorities and deadlines, and keep the tools and processes that track client work reliable, current, and easy to use. It’s fast work, spotting risks early and clearing blockers so the team delivers at the speed the moment demands.

This is a role for someone who keeps complex, multi-team work on track. You hold the details of many projects at once and keep clients and teams clear on priorities, so every Command Center can deliver.

What you’ll do

Program and project management

  • Act as primary point of contact for project coordination, ensuring clear and consistent communication between internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Build and maintain client project workplans, timelines, and deliverable trackers
  • Establish and run meeting cadences with clients and internal teams, including agendas and follow-ups
  • Coordinate across internal teams and outside vendors to drive alignment and execution on client work
  • Track progress against milestones, managing deadlines, dependencies, and accountability
  • Identify risks, resolve blockers, and maintain forward momentum on client projects

Cross-functional coordination

  • Conduct regular check-ins with internal teams to map priorities, dependencies, and blockers on client work
  • Plug into internal operating rhythms and communication flows, supporting prep, execution, and follow-up on client deliverables
  • Identify opportunities to improve clarity, coordination, and prioritization across internal teams working on client accounts
  • Support vendor and partner relationships as needed for client engagements

Systems and operations

  • Maintain project management systems (e.g., Drive, Motion, Pipedrive or equivalent) so information stays organized and up to date
  • Define and refine workflows for tracking projects, tasks, and ownership
  • Ensure documentation, trackers, and dashboards reflect current status

What you bring

7+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally within a media, creative, or agency environment

  • A proven track record of building and running workplans, trackers, and meeting cadences that keep complex projects on track
  • Experience serving as the primary point of contact for clients or senior stakeholders, with the communication skills to match
  • Comfort working across project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Drive, Motion, Pipedrive, or similar)
  • A track record of spotting risks early and resolving blockers before they slow a team down
  • Experience coordinating across internal teams and outside vendors or partners to drive alignment

Who you are

  • You’re organized and proactive—the kind of person who keeps things moving without being asked.
  • You work well across multiple client projects at once, holding the details of each without losing sight of the others.
  • You keep a clear head under pressure; a stressful moment sharpens your focus rather than throwing you off.
  • You hold a high bar, for your own work and for the teams you support, and you’re genuinely energized by early-stage work, ambiguity and all.
  • You’re warm and direct, equally comfortable as the point of contact for a client or for leadership, and you’re trusted with sensitive information and high-stakes workstreams because people know you’ll handle both well.

Compensation and benefits

The pay range is between $9,000–$12,000 per month and is set by working days and experience. This is a freelance role, paid project by project at rates competitive with the market for comparable freelance production work. The role is remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in New York, Toronto, or Los Angeles, and the option to work from our New York office.
