Job description

Location: 100% Fully Remote | Must Be Able to Work Pacific Time (PST) Hours

Description:
We are seeking an experienced QNXT Technical Project Manager to support a large-scale healthcare payer platform implementation.

This individual will partner with IT leadership, technical architects, development teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to coordinate technical workstreams, manage dependencies, and drive implementation readiness.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical project management capabilities combined with direct QNXT implementation experience and an understanding of core healthcare payer operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage technical workstreams across QNXT implementation, integration, data conversion, testing, and deployment.
  • Coordinate QNXT Claims, Membership, Benefits, Provider, Finance, Batch Processing, and interface-related activities.
  • Maintain integrated technical project plans, milestones, deliverables, RAID logs, and critical-path dependencies.
  • Partner with architects, application teams, database specialists, and integration resources to resolve technical issues and delivery constraints.
  • Oversee technical readiness for system integration testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Coordinate environment readiness, release schedules, deployment dependencies, and change management activities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with internal teams, external vendors, and business-side program managers.
  • Monitor technical risks, defects, resource constraints, and delivery performance.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and escalate decisions that may affect implementation milestones.
  • Ensure technical deliverables align with operational requirements and regulatory expectations.

You Will Be Successful If:

  • You understand QNXT well enough to challenge assumptions, identify implementation risks, and hold technical teams accountable without needing to personally configure or develop every solution.
  • You are comfortable stepping into an active enterprise implementation, coordinating multiple workstreams, and maintaining clear visibility into delivery progress, dependencies, and operational readiness.

What You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years of healthcare payer technology implementation or technical project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex core administrative system implementations.
  • Direct experience with QNXT implementations, migrations, upgrades, or enterprise integrations.
  • Working knowledge of QNXT architecture, system dependencies, batch processing, interfaces, and data structures.
  • Experience coordinating data migration, system integration testing, defect resolution, and production deployments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare EDI transactions, including 834, 837, 820, and 27X.
  • Strong project governance, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and third-party implementation partners.
  • Understanding of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or other regulated healthcare payer environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of QNXT-related technical delivery experience.
  • Understanding of QNXT Claims Processing, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), and batch operations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database analysis sufficient to engage technical teams and assess implementation risks.
  • Experience supporting QNXT conversion, migration, or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience leading offshore or distributed technical delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with QNXT production support and post-go-live stabilization.
