Job description

About Shore360:

Shore360 is a 100% Australian-owned BP firm based in the Philippines, providing customized staffing and administrative support for international companies, handling recruitment, HR, IT, and office facilities so clients can focus on core business, offering transparent pricing, dedicated teams, and flexible setups.

The Role

The Business Analyst translates valuation and operational business needs into clear, structured requirements that guide the design and development of WBP's software solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, SMEs and the development team, the role ensures solutions deliver practical business value. The initial focus is WBP's new mobile valuation application, with other development and BAU work as priorities require.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation and Analysis

  • Participate in workshops, observation sessions and conduct interviews and other discovery activities with
    valuers, SMEs and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing valuation workflows, reporting processes, systems, pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Elicit and define business, functional and non-functional requirements for WBP's new and existing applications.
  •  Identify assumptions, dependencies, constraints, risks and gaps requiring clarification or decision.

Requirements Documentation and Management

  • Develop and maintain clear requirements documentation, user stories, tasks, use cases, business rules,
acceptance criteria, process maps, data requirements and functional specifications.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous, testable and easily understood by business and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain requirements traceability from business need through design, development, testing and delivery.
  • Manage requirement changes through agreed governance and document decisions and approvals.

Process and Solution Analysis

  • Document current-state and future-state processes and recommend practical improvements to valuation and
    report-production workflows.
  • Work with design and development team members to translate requirements into intuitive workflows and feasible solution options.
  • Assess proposed solutions against business objectives, user needs, scope, risks and delivery priorities.
  • Support the definition of data capture, validation, integration, reporting and audit requirements.

Stakeholder and SME Engagement

  • Build effective working relationships with valuers, SMEs, operational leaders, project sponsors and delivery partners.
  • Facilitate constructive discussion, resolve ambiguity and build alignment where stakeholder needs or priorities differ.
  • Communicate requirements, decisions, impacts and outstanding issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure feedback is recorded, assessed and responded to through the agreed process.

Delivery & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with project management, product, design, development and testing team members throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Participate in discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, showcases and retrospectives.
  • Provide timely clarification to developers and testers and support the resolution of requirement-related questions and issues.
  • Assist with prioritizing the delivery backlog according to business value, dependencies, risk and business objectives.
  • Work alongside other requirements and integration specialists in the Software Development team to share workload and maintain consistent standards.
  • Contribute business analysis to development initiatives, system enhancements and BAU change requests as required.

Testing, Implementation and Business Readiness

  • Collaborate with testing team members and business stakeholders to develop test scenarios and confirm
    requirements coverage.
  • Support user acceptance testing, defect triage and validation that delivered functionality meets agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to process documentation, user guidance, training content and implementation-readiness activities where required.
  • Support transition activities and the capture of requirements for post-implementation improvements.

Governance, Privacy and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate, organized and version-controlled documentation and decision records.
  • Consider privacy, security, confidentiality and appropriate handling of valuation, customer and property-related information when defining requirements.
  • Comply with WBP governance, information security and document management requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business analysis practices and create reusable standards for future platform enhancements.

Remote Working, Communication and Delivery

  • Work independently to plan, prioritise and manage assigned deliverables in a fully remote offshore environment.
  • Provide clear and timely progress updates, raise risks or blockers early and seek clarification when required.
  • Collaborate effectively with Australian-based stakeholders, development team members and third-party provider contacts across time zones.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and accountability for delivering agreed outcomes to a high standard.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Business Analysis, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Business analysis certification such as IIBA, CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA or equivalent is desirable.

  • Strong experience eliciting, analyzing and documenting business and functional requirements for software applications.
  • Experience developing user stories, use cases, process maps, business rules and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and working with diverse business and technical stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of agile delivery and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience with mobile applications, workflow-based systems, field-service technology, property or valuation environments is desirable.
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs and CRM platforms such as Salesforce is desirable.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence or comparable requirements and backlog management tools is desirable.

Skills
