Computer Software / SaaS

A lot of companies say they’re “mission-driven.” Our unique corporate structure guarantees that every decision we make upholds our mission: to ensure the internet remains open and accessible. Beholden to neither shareholders nor investors, Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the not-for-profit Mozilla Foundation. Along with our communities of 20,000+ contributors and collaborators, Mozilla Corporation’s staff designs, builds, and distributes software that allows people to enjoy the internet on their own terms. Our flagship product — the Firefox browser — has expanded into a family of products that protects users and alerts them of risks, safeguards passwords and provides a secure VPN (with more to come). By maintaining a safe, open internet we're helping humanity, while also helping the individual humans employed here to reach their personal and professional goals. With a relatively small team serving hundreds of millions of people, a culture of exploration, and a commitment to mentorship, opportunities abound to learn and grow at Mozilla.

Job description

Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders — only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.

About this team and role:

This is a high-trust Executive Assistant role supporting three VPs within Mozilla's Core Services Leadership Team: VP, Engineering; VP, Information Technology; and VP, Security. Together, these leaders oversee the infrastructure, systems, and technical operations that power Mozilla's products and protect our users and organization.

You'll be the operational backbone for three fast-moving senior leaders, keeping their time and priorities running smoothly while navigating a complex, cross-functional environment with discretion and sound judgment. You'll work regularly with executive leadership (and their EAs), technical teams, and external partners, so poise, adaptability, and a proactive mindset matter as much as strong execution.

What you'll do:

  • Act as a key point of contact between executives, their teams, and internal/external partners, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of discretion.
  • Manage a wide range of administrative tasks including calendar management, domestic and international travel coordination, expense reports, etc.
  • Support execs across US time zones.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings.
  • Plan logistics and events for team and exec offsites and work weeks.
  • Build relationships within the organization. Establish and maintain trusted working partnerships through regular communication, a clear understanding of stakeholder needs, and consistent follow-through.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of administrative experience in a technology company and multi location environment working on administrative tasks for 1 or more executives (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, etc.).
  • Experience in coordinating with sensitive, high stakes external teams.
  • Attention to detail, manage ambiguity, and foster a team culture.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great at taking initiative and solving problems.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
  • Commitment to our values:
    • Welcoming differences
    • Being relationship-minded
    • Practicing responsible participation
    • Having grit

What you’ll get:

  • Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team
  • Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)
  • Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together
  • Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday
  • One-time home office stipend
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Quarterly well-being stipend
  • Considerable paid parental leave
  • Employee referral bonus program
  • Other benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)
