Overview

We are seeking an experienced OneStream Finance Strategy & Reporting Consultant to partner with Finance and IT stakeholders on a high-impact initiative focused on financial reporting, data integrity, and analytics. This consultant will play a key role in defining strategic direction, developing a roadmap for future capabilities, and improving the organization's use of OneStream within an SAP environment.

Following the completion of the strategy and roadmap phase, the consultant will transition into a hands-on development role, creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support financial decision-making.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity with an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance leadership to assess current reporting processes, capabilities, and future-state requirements.

• Develop a strategic roadmap for enhancing financial reporting, analytics, and visualization capabilities.

• Evaluate and improve data integrity, governance, and reporting processes within OneStream.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial data structures and reporting needs.

• Translate business requirements into actionable reporting and analytics solutions.

• Design, build, and enhance OneStream reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

• Support the implementation of roadmap initiatives and drive adoption of best practices.

• Provide recommendations for process improvements and optimization opportunities across finance reporting workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience implementing, configuring, or supporting OneStream solutions.

• Experience working with OneStream in an SAP environment.

• Deep understanding of financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analytics processes.

• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

• Ability to work directly with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and develop strategic recommendations.

• Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and reporting best practices.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading finance transformation or reporting modernization initiatives.

• Background in financial systems strategy, roadmap development, or enterprise performance management (EPM).

• Experience with SAP financial data and integration concepts.

• Ability to balance strategic consulting responsibilities with hands-on development work.
