Job description

WHO WE ARE

Noora Health’s mission is to improve outcomes and strengthen health systems by equipping family caregivers with the skills they need to care for their loved ones. Founded in 2014, Noora Health turns hospital hallways and waiting rooms into classrooms by tapping into the most compassionate resources available for the patient’s care: their own family.

With support from governments and partners in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Nepal, Noora Health has trained more than 65 million caregivers and patients across 16,400+ facilities using their flagship caregiver education and training curriculum, the Care Companion Program (CCP).

In a cohort of patients, the CCP reduced post-surgical cardiac complications by 71%, maternal complications by 12%, newborn complications by 16%, and newborn mortality by 18%.

Noora Health is an Audacious Project Grantee and received the Skoll Foundation Award for Social Innovation. To learn more, watch our TED Talk,

WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are seeking a detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent development professional to lead the management and quality of our funder-facing pipeline across Africa. This role sits at the center of our fundraising engine, ensuring that every proposal, pitch, report, and donor touchpoint reflects the caliber, clarity, and impact of our work. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and editor who can translate complex programmatic and financial data into compelling narratives, while also managing and developing a small, cross-cultural team.

Pipeline & Deliverables Management

  • Manage the pipeline of funder-facing deliverables, including proposals, pitches, reports, and site visit itineraries, ensuring deadlines and funder requirements are consistently met
  • Review and refine all funder-facing deliverables prior to submission to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with funder expectations
  • Build and maintain systems and timelines that give the Fundraising team visibility into upcoming deliverables and priorities
  • Ensure the Fundraising team has consistent, reliable access to up-to-date impact and financial data to inform donor communications

Content Development & Storytelling

  • Partner with program and finance teams to translate data and outcomes into clear, compelling narratives for donors and partners
  • Uphold a high bar for writing quality, tone, and accuracy across all donor-facing materials
  • Develop and maintain templates, boilerplate language, and best practices to improve consistency and efficiency across the team

External Representation & New Funders

  • Represent Noora Health externally at Africa-based meetings, events, and with funders as needed
  • Support donor visits and engagement activities, including coordinating logistics for site visits
  • Support prospecting research to help Noora develop connections with prospective new funders
  • Serve as a knowledgeable, credible voice on Noora Health's work and impact in external settings

Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead a small team, providing mentorship, feedback, and professional development support
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture across a geographically and culturally diverse group
  • Work closely with program, finance, and communications teams to gather the information and materials needed for donor-facing content
  • Contribute to global Development strategy, messaging, and priorities

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • 12+ years of experience in development, fundraising, or communications, with demonstrated experience managing complex deliverables and deadlines
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team, ideally across different geographies or cultural contexts
  • Experience working with international donors, foundations, or institutional funders

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to distill complex programmatic and financial information into clear, persuasive narratives.
