You will also contribute to the future of technical support by using emerging AI, automation, and connected Autodesk workflows across Moldflow, Fusion, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for Autodesk Moldflow customers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving geometry, meshing, materials, process settings, solver behavior, and simulation results.

  • Create clear technical articles, troubleshooting guidance, and reusable knowledge for customers and internal teams.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting, research, and knowledge creation while validating technical accuracy with sound engineering judgment.
  • Develop expertise in connected Autodesk workflows, including Moldflow, Fusion, and related design and manufacturing technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience preparing, running, troubleshooting, and interpreting engineering simulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and ownership of technical problems through resolution.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-changing technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience in injection molding, mold design, tooling, process engineering, or plastics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Fusion, Inventor, or other CAD/CAE platforms.
  • Experience with CFD, FEA, thermal, or multiphysics simulation.
  • Experience with Python, scripting, APIs, automation, or engineering productivity tools.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools for engineering, technical research, troubleshooting, or workflow automation.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a technically curious problem solver who enjoys helping others succeed. You can explain complex engineering concepts clearly, take ownership of difficult customer issues, and use data and engineering fundamentals to reach sound conclusions.

You are also excited about how AI, automation, and connected design-to-manufacturing workflows can improve engineering productivity and customer support, while understanding the importance of validating AI-generated recommendations with engineering judgment.

Success in this role means not only resolving individual customer issues, but also turning what you learn into better knowledge, workflows, tools, and support experiences for the broader Autodesk community.
