Job description

Duration: 9 months contract

Job Description:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support legal billing operations, invoice management, and legal spend administration.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BrightFlag, a legal billing management platform, and be comfortable reviewing legal invoices, maintaining budgets, managing legal matters, and coordinating with external legal vendors and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process legal invoices through the BrightFlag platform.
  • Review invoices and evaluate AI-generated flags to identify potential billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Determine whether invoices should be routed for approval or require additional review.
  • Review legal billing details, timekeeper rates, and applicable volume-based discounts.
  • Calculate discounts based on volume arrangements and ensure accurate invoice processing.
  • Update and maintain legal budgets within BrightFlag.
Experience:
  • Hands-on experience using BrightFlag is mandatory.
  • Experience in legal billing, legal invoice management, legal spend administration, or a related accounting function.
  • Experience reviewing invoices, validating billing information, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
