Job description

Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to help create engaging, intuitive, and accessible digital experiences across websites, landing pages, and other online platforms.

This is a hands-on design position for someone who enjoys taking an idea from early concepts through finished designs and working closely with developers to bring those designs to life.

You'll use Figma to develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and reusable design components. You'll also contribute to an established design system, helping create consistent experiences across different websites and digital initiatives. The primary focus is website UX/UI design, with occasional opportunities to support email marketing, digital campaigns, and other online creative projects.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design user-friendly, responsive experiences for websites, landing pages, online forms, and other digital platforms.
  • Turn business goals, user needs, and project requirements into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs.
  • Develop clear page layouts, navigation structures, content organization, and calls to action that make websites easier to use.
  • Create designs that work consistently across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Apply accessibility standards and inclusive design principles to improve the experience for users with different needs.
  • Build, update, and maintain reusable UI components, templates, and design patterns within an established design system.
  • Document component variations, interaction behaviors, responsive layouts, content considerations, and accessibility requirements.
  • Partner with developers to ensure designs can be implemented efficiently using reusable, scalable components.
  • Prepare organized Figma files, design specifications, assets, and supporting documentation for development.
  • Review completed website implementations to ensure they match approved designs and meet usability, responsiveness, and accessibility expectations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, technical, and business stakeholders to translate feedback into practical design improvements.
  • Use available analytics, usability findings, and stakeholder input to refine existing digital experiences.
  • Occasionally develop supporting creative assets for email marketing, digital advertisements, campaign banners, and other online initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong professional experience designing websites, landing pages, and interactive digital experiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma, including component libraries, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows.
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Hands-on experience working with design systems, reusable components, interface patterns, and supporting documentation.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, navigation, content hierarchy, and interaction design.
  • Experience designing responsive interfaces that provide a consistent user experience across different screen sizes.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for creating inclusive digital experiences.
  • Experience collaborating directly with developers and preparing detailed design specifications for implementation.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, brands, or digital properties while maintaining consistent design standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate constructive feedback.
  • Comfortable managing priorities, working independently, and collaborating with a remote team.
  • Ability to research and source appropriate visual assets, including basic image retouching and color correction.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Experience:
  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, digital product design, or a closely related field.
  • Experience designing for enterprise websites, organizations with multiple brands, or environments supporting several digital properties.
  • Familiarity with enterprise content-management systems and designing interfaces around reusable website components.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS and how front-end technologies influence design implementation.
  • Experience working alongside developers, content specialists, digital marketers, and technical platform teams.
  • Experience creating supporting digital assets such as email templates, banner advertisements, and campaign graphics.
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Portfolio Requirements:
Candidates must provide a portfolio demonstrating hands-on UX/UI design experience, ideally including:
  • Website and landing-page projects showing both design quality and usability.
  • Examples of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Design-system contributions, reusable UI components, or component libraries created in Figma.
  • Responsive designs demonstrating how layouts adapt across devices.
  • Completed digital experiences showing how initial concepts were developed into functional websites or products.
