Job Description

YOU...

• manage the technical and commercial procurement of E/E components for automotive development projects
• source components such as ECUs, sensors, actuators, displays, HMI, wiring harnesses, connectors, and connectivity solutions
• prepare and manage RFQs based on technical requirements and specifications
• identify, evaluate, and select suitable automotive suppliers
• perform technical and commercial evaluations of supplier quotations
• negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms
• work closely with E/E Engineering and System Architecture teams to align technical requirements
• ensure cost, quality, timing, and supply targets are achieved
• monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and procurement risks
• support supplier development from nomination through prototyping, industrialization, and series production
• collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams across the project lifecycle

Qualifications

YOU...

• have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field
• have several years of experience in technical purchasing, project procurement, or commodity management, ideally within the automotive industry
• have a solid understanding of electrical and electronic vehicle components
• are familiar with ECUs, sensors, actuators, wiring harnesses, connectors, and vehicle communication systems
• have experience managing RFQ, sourcing, supplier selection, and procurement processes
• have strong negotiation skills and experience with supplier contracts
• understand automotive development and industrialization processes
• are able to work with BOMs, technical specifications, and engineering documentation
• have experience with cost analysis, cost breakdowns, and supplier quotation comparisons (an advantage)
• have worked with international suppliers and global supply chains (an advantage)
• have excellent English communication skills; German is nice to have but not required

Salary starting at €4,300 gross per month (based on 38.5 hours/week), with a clear willingness to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and professional experience.
