OSP/ISP Field Engineer

Our Client, a Communications company, is looking for a OSP/ISP Field Engineer for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Provides technical direction on a wide variety of projects involving ISP and OSP facilities, including cables, conduits, huts, etc. They will collaborate with engineers, construction supervisors, vendor partners, and project managers. They are responsible for effectively monitoring and managing aspects of deployment, including resolving issues, and accurately reporting on progress of their assignments.
• Gathers data from field resources, to execute on requirements of the overall business need.
• Assures that the most feasible, practical and economical means to complete the work are recommended. Provides cost data to support capital planning and budgeting.
• Monitors and assists in control of project expenditures as required.
• Analyzes the requested solutions for implementation, including but not limited to planning, evaluating, and selecting proper materials.
• Direct Support of logistics and materials management
• Supports acquisition and implementation of network specific materials.

• Requires minimal direction and guidance once up to speed.
• Input of updates into company specific tracking systems as applicable and as needed
• 2+ years of industry experience
