The Operations organization includes Corporate Technology (IT), Sales and Marketing Operations, Facilities, and Procurement.

You will help business leaders understand financial performance, manage budgets and forecasts, plan headcount, evaluate business decisions, and turn financial and operational data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

This position may be performed fully remotely from within Costa Rica. Employees located near San José will also have the option to work from the office.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a finance business partner to leaders across Operations, People & Culture, Legal, and other G&A functions.
  • Support annual budgeting and monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings to finance and business stakeholders
  • Prepare and continuously improve monthly and quarterly reporting packages, management summaries, and financial insights
  • Partner with budget owners to manage operating expenses, headcount, and other key financial drivers
  • Maintain financial data and planning inputs within Veeam’s enterprise performance management systems
  • Collaborate with Accounting and other Finance teams to support accurate reporting and a consistent understanding of business performance
  • Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support business decisions

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with complex financial and operational datasets
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, including actuals versus budget and forecast
  • Experience with headcount and workforce planning, including forecasting hiring plans, tracking employee-related costs, and analyzing variances
  • Experience using a modern EPM or financial planning platform, such as Pigment, Anaplan, or a comparable system
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to turn data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, perform ad hoc analysis, and work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Professional proficiency in English

The position may be filled at the Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst level depending on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and demonstrated scope of responsibility.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience working in a SaaS, software, technology, or other fast-growing global organization
  • Experience supporting G&A functions such as Corporate Technology (IT), People & Culture, Legal, Facilities, Procurement, or Operations.
  • Experience working for a U.S. publicly traded company and a strong understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP reporting

What You’ll Get

  • Unlimited paid time off, plus 3 global VeeaMe Days for self-care
  • Paid parental leave: 8 weeks for all parents, 16 weeks for birthing parents
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one
