Job description

FWD People is a full-service strategic marketing agency delivering meaningful and measurable results in the health and non-profit sectors. We take pride in being our clients' trusted strategic partner — staying ahead of the curve, and leveraging our expertise and foresight to help them navigate change and seize opportunities. We approach every challenge with a commitment to innovation, excellence, and empathy, and we seek the same qualities in our leaders. As a fast-growing, senior team, we're excited to welcome more forward-thinking individuals who will help us drive growth, foster positive change within our client's industries, and have fun along the way.

As a freelance Production Designer, you’ll combine creativity and technical expertise to produce expertly crafted work across a range of client engagements. You’ll create a diverse range of deliverables: case studies, presentations, marketing collateral, and other visual materials, that strategically represent our clients’ brands. Working closely with cross-functional teams on a project basis, you’ll ensure all visual concepts are executed with precision and consistency, delivering polished, impactful solutions that enhance brand narratives and drive results.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, modify, and resize assets for social, paid advertising, web, email campaigns, presentations, events, websites, print, and more.

  • Work with stakeholders to interpret and transform information into clear, compelling charts, graphs, icons, and graphics that communicate complex concepts in an easily digestible format.

  • Build visually engaging, on-brand presentations (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote) that communicate complex business concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Develop and maintain templates to ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all touchpoints.

  • Perform thorough quality assurance on all deliverables to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines before final delivery.

  • Maintain organized, properly versioned project and design files that adhere to naming conventions and enable seamless handoff.

  • Collaborate with project teams to clarify design requirements, deliver effective solutions, and exceed expectations — with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality throughout.

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in presentation design and production, bringing fresh thinking to each engagement.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years of production design experience, preferably within a creative agency.

  • A passion for design excellence and deep understanding of digital and print production processes, with meticulous attention to existing design systems across platforms and mediums.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Keynote, and PowerPoint.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to execute across a wide range of design projects.

  • The ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • A positive, collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving — and genuine enthusiasm for expanding your skillset across new project types.
