Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading large, complex projects or programs with multiple workstreams, serving as the accountable owner for end-to-end delivery, including managing scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring alignment to business objectives. In this highly visible role, you will partner with Medicare Stars leadership and cross-functional teams across customer experience, pharmacy, clinical, and provider-facing functions to drive strategic initiatives that improve Stars performance and business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep Medicare and Medicare Stars experience, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to influence and hold matrixed teams accountable while removing barriers, escalating risks, and driving execution. This role requires a blend of business and technical acumen to support the design, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives, develop strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful delivery in a complex matrix environment. A thorough understanding of project management, enterprise processes, organizational tools such as PowerPoint and SharePoint, and the ability to communicate effectively on behalf of leadership are essential for success.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree with 5 years project management experience OR 7 years project management experience.
  • Familiarity and experience with Project Management Methodologies (i.e. Project Management Institute – PMBOK), and experience in project delivery and management of large and/or complex projects.
  • Understanding of project financial tracking including monitoring and reporting on budget expenditures.
  • Experience in negotiations, managing conflict, and organizational / political savvy.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, as well as meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills; agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to create integrated, milestone-driven critical path project plans.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to influence (direct / indirect reports, project stakeholders, and leaders), and manage in a matrix organization.
  • Structured, organized and methodical in execution, takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, drives for results and drives certainty in delivery; able to manage multiple parallel efforts and deliver quality deliverables on schedule.
  • Develops trusted relationships and demonstrates deep Interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with the entire software development lifecycle from inception to development to testing to production deployment and maintenance; deep understanding of HCSC delivery models – OWF, Scrum, XP.
  • Regular in-person attendance at the designated facility of the job posting.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification
  • Health care acumen and HCSC experience
  • Comfort/poise with senior management
  • Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of the Clarity PPM system, and expertise in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PPT, Word, Project.
  • Experience supporting Medicare Advantage Stars programs and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of CMS Medicare Stars measures, regulations, and Star Ratings strategies.
  • Experience partnering with clinical, pharmacy, provider, customer experience, and operational stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with experience developing executive-level presentations and communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive accountability across highly matrixed organizations.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Base Pay Range

$92,700.00 - $167,500.00
