Job description

Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Summary:

  • Duration: 6 Months
  • Work Mode: Remote
  • Shift Schedule: 9 - 4 pm CT

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workplace investigations as a neutral fact-finder.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Support fair and consistent resolution of workplace concerns.
  • Manage investigations involving policy violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace conduct concerns.
  • Partner with Employee Relations, Human Resources Business Partners, Labor Relations, Legal, Global Security, and business leaders.
  • Assess facts, document findings, and support consistent, compliant outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, workplace investigations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough, objective, and defensible workplace investigations.
  • Strong interviewing, fact-finding, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and manage sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and leaders on employee relations matters.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience conducting investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace misconduct, ethics concerns, and other policy violations.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, distribution, or unionized environments.
  • Experience utilizing case management systems such as HR Acuity, Navex, EthicsPoint, or similar platforms.
  • Professional certifications related to workplace investigations, human resources, employee relations, conflict resolution, or employment law.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive, complex, and high-risk situations with professionalism and objectivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Experience identifying patterns and trends across investigations, assessing organizational risk, and providing practical recommendations for resolution.
  • Ability to establish credibility with employees, leaders, and cross-functional partners while maintaining neutrality and consistency throughout the investigative process.
