Job description

Crimson Education is the world’s leading college admissions consulting firm, with over 1,490 Ivy League offers and 2,410 to the US Top 15. We help ambitious students gain admission to the world’s top universities through expert-led guidance and proven, data-driven strategies. Crimson students are 7x more likely to get into the Ivy League than their peers. We were recently featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.

Crimson is the only college admissions consultancy that brings together:

  • Former Ivy League and Top 20 admissions officers to rigorously review and refine applications

  • Professors and PhD teaching fellows from leading universities to guide students through original, independent research — with pathways to selective peer-reviewed publication or conference presentation

  • Past ISEF winners and judges who coach students to compete for state, national, and international science fair awards

  • Capstone project mentors who help students design and scale leadership initiatives with real-world impact, measurable outcomes, and credible external validation

We’re backed by leading VC firms, including Tiger Global, Heal Partners, IceHouse Ventures, and Movac, and recently closed a USD $40M Series D funding round at a USD $640M valuation. We now operate across 21 markets worldwide, including the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.

The Role

We're looking for a Regional Digital Marketing Manager to own paid acquisition and performance marketing across the CIS region.

This is not just a campaign management role. You'll own performance from strategy through hands-on execution — managing campaigns, analysing the full funnel, working closely with local marketing and sales teams, and identifying what needs to happen next to drive market growth.

We’re looking for someone who can connect paid media performance to lead quality, pipeline, revenue, and ROAS; spot opportunities and problems before someone else flags them; and turn insights into action without needing heavy oversight.

You'll also be an active member of our EMEA/CIS Performance Marketing team, sharing learnings, collaborating on regional initiatives, and helping successful ideas scale across markets.

If you like having real ownership, digging into data, testing ideas, and being able to see the commercial impact of your work, this role gives you plenty of room to do exactly that.

Please note: This role does not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Kazakhstan.

What are the main responsibilities for this role?

Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Own the paid digital marketing strategy for the CIS region, working closely with country managers and local marketing teams.

  • Launch and manage campaigns across Meta, Google (Search, Performance Max), Telegram Ads, and Yandex Ads.

  • Manage budgets across markets to support lead generation, revenue, and ROAS targets.

  • Design and run structured experiments to solve performance challenges and identify growth opportunities.

Market Performance & Analysis
  • Maintain a clear view of market and funnel health, connecting paid performance to lead quality, sales outcomes, revenue, and ROAS.

  • Monitor weekly, monthly, and year-over-year performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities early.

  • Investigate performance changes and turn data into clear recommendations and next steps — not just reporting numbers.

  • Maintain accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting across advertising platforms, CRM, and internal data sources.

  • Analyze campaign performance, A/B test results, and revenue outcomes to surface optimization opportunities.

  • Compile and present analytics reports to regional and global stakeholders.

Local Team Collaboration
  • Partner closely with country managers, local marketing, and sales teams to align performance marketing with wider market priorities.

  • Proactively communicate performance changes, risks, opportunities, and recommendations rather than waiting for issues to be escalated.

  • Drive agreed actions forward and proactively gather the market insights, sales feedback, and assets needed to improve performance.

Global Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Senior Regional Digital Marketing Manager and global team members across time zones to align regional execution with broader business objectives.

  • Share learnings and channel expertise across markets to support the wider Global Performance Marketing team.

What skills and experience are required?

  • 3–6 years of experience running paid digital advertising campaigns, ideally including hands-on Meta and Google Search/Performance Max experience.

  • Comfortable working with Telegram ads and Yandex Ads, or open to developing depth there.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with experience working across international, cross-time-zone teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • A self-starter who can take a strategy from idea to execution independently, without needing significant hand-holding.

  • Growth mindset and comfort operating in a fully online, fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar CRM preferred.

Bonus if you have

  • Experience working across CIS markets (Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Baltics)

  • Familiarity with AI tools as part of your day-to-day marketing workflow.

Why work for Crimson?

  • Rapidly growing start-up, with a flexible working environment where you will be empowered to structure how you work

  • Limitless development and exposure - our internal promotions/role changes made up 33% of all recruitment last year

  • $1000 individual training budget per year, we love to ‘Level Up’ (it’s one of our core values)!

  • Psychologist on staff

  • Insightful fireside chats and workshops to help support our high-performing and ambitious team

  • Radical Candor is a feedback approach we live by

  • We’re a global player with 28 markets (and growing) across the globe. Most roles have the option to work from one of our many offices or remotely!

If you're passionate about growing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to work with cutting-edge technology, then we'd love to hear from you!
