Job description

Edina Realty has an exciting opportunity for a Transaction Coordinator. This role will support sales associates by drafting and reviewing documents, tracking transaction
details for compliance, and communicating with all parties involved in the process. You will serve as a key resource managing all aspects of the transaction for associates and clients from beginning to closing.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. This is a remote position upon completion of initial training; however, you must be a resident of MN or WI and be available to attend company events and meetings up to nine times per year. Initial in person training will be at our Edina Realty office located at 6800 France Ave S, Edina, MN. Edina Realty has offices across MN and western WI. Our corporate office is located in Edina, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage active files and their supporting documentation to ensure completeness.
  • Prepare and maintain files for document storage; verify that required reports and disclosures are collected.
  • Draft and review documents and confirm all signatures are obtained.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards, identify and resolve document issues that may delay the transaction.
  • Perform data entry tasks, prepare general correspondence, and manage transaction management system.
  • Monitor key deadlines to ensure timely processing and on-time closings.
  • Provide and coordinate accurate and timely communication with external contacts.
  • Schedule and present department materials at office sales meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.

Experience:

  • Real estate license or two years in a real estate administrative role preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a real estate license if currently not licensed.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills and covering materials in front of a group.
  • Excellent customer service focus.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail; high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to attend company events and meetings up to nine times per year.

Wage:   $22 - $24 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan, based on financial results.
