Job Description:
Full Stack Application Support Engineer (ReactJS / Node.js / Java Technologies)
Experience6-8 YearsRole SummaryWe are looking for a skilled
Full Stack Application Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for critical enterprise applications built on modern web technologies including ReactJS, Node.js, Java/J2EE, and cloud-native platforms. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application availability, troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, managing incidents, supporting deployments, and collaborating with development, infrastructure, and business teams.This role requires strong technical expertise across front-end, backend, APIs, databases, cloud environments, and production support processes while working directly with onshore stakeholders and business users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Support & Incident Management
  • Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications.Monitor application health and proactively identify issues.Troubleshoot application, API, database, and infrastructure-related incidents.Resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.Participate in major incident calls and war-room discussions.Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.Manage service requests, problem tickets, and change requests.
Full Stack Technical Support
  • Analyze issues across the full technology stack including frontend, backend, APIs, middleware, and databases.Debug ReactJS UI issues such as rendering errors, routing issues, and API integrations.Troubleshoot Node.js services and microservices.Investigate Java/J2EE application issues including memory leaks, thread dumps, and server errors.Analyze application logs and monitoring dashboards for issue diagnosis.Support application deployments and production releases.
Production Monitoring
  • Monitor application performance using enterprise monitoring tools.Identify bottlenecks and performance degradation.Track system utilization, API response times, batch failures, and service availability.Create alerts, dashboards, and operational reports.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Communicate incident updates to business and technical stakeholders.Participate in client calls and provide status updates.Work closely with onshore clients and business teams.Prepare support documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Automate repetitive support activities.Improve monitoring and alerting mechanisms.Recommend application stability improvements.Support DevOps and Site Reliability initiatives.

Required Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Application Support and Software Engineering.Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS, Node.js, and Java technologies.Experience supporting production applications in a 24x7 environment.Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and microservices architectures.Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized environments.Experience working with ITIL-based support processes.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong stakeholder management skills.Ability to work directly with business and client teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to handle high-severity production incidents under pressure.Leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.ITIL Foundation Certification.AWS/Azure Certification.Java or Spring Professional Certification.Experience in Healthcare provider environment will be an advantage.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this role is ($50-$56hour).  This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
 
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. Company benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life, and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
