Software Engineer (Mid-Senior)

Backed by Falfurrias Management Partners, the platform brings together deep domain expertise across Army, Navy, and Air Force and Space Force programs, digital engineering, systems integration, and specialized manufacturing capabilities.     The combined organization operates as a multi-entity aerospace and defense technology and tech-enabled services and manufacturing enterprise positioned for scalable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.    OVERVIEW  Full-time/Permanent Employee   Location: Remote with 50% Travel to Hollywood, MD    The Mid-Senior Software Engineer will develop software in C/C++ and Angular for customer programs spanning application functionality and user interfaces. This position may be performed remotely and will support direct work for a current DOD customer, with contributions to other current programs as needed. The engineer will collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into maintainable implementations, integrate software components, and resolve issues through testing and debugging. Experience with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) command and control interfaces, avionics datalinks and communications, or avionics navigation solutions is preferred.       
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot real-time software in C/C++.  

• Develop and maintain Angular user interfaces and integrate them with supporting application functionality.  

• Translate program requirements into software designs and implementations in collaboration with engineering teams.  

• Test and debug software components, investigate integration issues, and implement corrective changes.  

• Support multiple programs simultaneously.  

• Maintain technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and coordinate development and issue resolution with distributed team members 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance (Active clearance preferred) 
Years of Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field with 10+ years relevant experience. 

• Software development experience in C/C++ 

• Software development experience using Angular 

• Ability to design, implement, integrate, test, and troubleshoot software components and user interfaces

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and communicate technical work in a remote work environment 

• Experience developing in an Agile environment

• Employment is contingent on obtaining a Secret security clearance

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with UAV command and control interfaces  

• Experience with avionics datalinks or communications 

• Experience with avionics navigation solutions
