Technical Project Manager

Location: Remote – U.S.
Time Zone: Central or Eastern preferred; Pacific also considered
Engagement: Contract – 12 Months, with potential for extension

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Technical Project Managers to support a fast-paced cloud infrastructure environment. This role will focus on planning and delivering data center infrastructure supporting the deployment of next-generation GPU- and CPU-based technologies.

The Technical Project Manager will work closely with business, engineering, and infrastructure teams to plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute projects supporting the expansion of large-scale cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, scheduling, coordination, and day-to-day execution of cloud infrastructure projects.

  • Partner with business and engineering teams to estimate, prioritize, and track project activities.

  • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, milestones, and dependencies.

  • Create and maintain standard project management documentation and deliverables.

  • Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate recurring project meetings, status reviews, and operational checkpoints.

  • Communicate project status, key milestones, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.

  • Coordinate across infrastructure teams, including data center operations, networking, storage, and provisioning.

  • Help ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, technical requirements, and delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.

  • 8+ years of technical project management experience, preferably supporting highly available, large-scale cloud or data center environments.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including:

    • Servers

    • Networking

    • Storage

    • Data centers

    • Colocation environments

  • Knowledge of data center standards, policies, processes, and methodologies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coordinate, and build relationships across software and IT infrastructure organizations.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as data center operations, networking, storage, infrastructure, and provisioning.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure deployments.

  • Experience with GPU/CPU infrastructure or high-performance computing environments.

  • Experience managing infrastructure projects with multiple technical dependencies.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Background Screening
